Sales insights
Commerce Pro counts what shoppers do with the assistant, such as adding to the cart or comparing products, and reports the revenue from items they added in the chat. Use it to see whether the assistant is helping you sell, and which products shoppers act on.
Key numbers
Section titled “Key numbers”
Open Geeky Bot → Commerce Pro. The numbers at the top cover the last 30 days:
| Number | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Added to cart | Products and variations added to the cart from the chat. |
| Cart updates | Quantity changes and removals in the chat cart. |
| Checkouts started | Times a shopper selected Checkout in the chat cart. Counted since Commerce Pro 2.1.3; earlier versions always show 0. |
| Order lookups | Order lists and order details opened by signed-in customers. |
| Comparisons | Comparisons built, and products picked for comparison from a card. |
| Recommendations | Times a shopper opened suggestions with Recommend. |
| Leads | Contact requests sent through the chat form. |
| Coupon views | Times a shopper asked the chat for discount codes. |
Below them, Top products in the assistant lists the five products shoppers clicked, compared or added to cart most through the chat in the last 30 days.
Revenue from the chat
Section titled “Revenue from the chat”With Commerce Pro active, the Geeky Bot → Dashboard screen adds revenue for the last 30 days:
- Assisted revenue appears in the numbers at the top once at least one order counts, with the number of orders and the change from the previous 30 days.
- The What shoppers do next card shows the steps Conversations started, Products opened, Products compared and Added to cart, then Revenue from items added in chat with “Across [number] orders worth [amount]”.
How revenue is attributed
Section titled “How revenue is attributed”Attribution is deliberately cautious:
- Line items, not orders. Only order lines the shopper added through the chat count as assisted revenue, including their tax. If a $500 order includes one $20 item added in the chat, the assisted revenue is $20.
- Influenced order value. The full value of orders that include at least one chat-added line is shown separately, as “worth [amount]”. It is a weaker claim: the assistant was involved, but didn’t necessarily sell everything in those orders.
- Paid orders only. Only orders in WooCommerce’s paid statuses, such as Processing and Completed, count.
- Both checkouts. The chat origin is carried from the cart to the order on the classic checkout and the Checkout block, with or without High-Performance Order Storage.
Attribution started with Commerce Pro 2.0.2 and isn’t retroactive. Orders placed before then carry no record, so they never count. Until the first assisted order arrives, the Dashboard says “Revenue appears here after the first order containing an item a shopper added through the assistant. Earlier orders cannot be attributed retroactively.” instead of showing a zero.
Turn activity counting on or off
Section titled “Turn activity counting on or off”- Open Geeky Bot → Commerce Pro.
- Select the AI guardrails tab.
- Turn Product activity analytics on or off.
- Select Save settings.
It’s on when you first install Commerce Pro. While it’s off, no new activity is counted and the key numbers stop growing. Revenue attribution doesn’t depend on this switch, because it’s stored on the orders themselves.
What is stored
Section titled “What is stored”Each counted action is saved in your WordPress database with its type, the product, the number of items in the cart and the time. It also keeps the chat session and, for signed-in shoppers, their WordPress user account. Nothing is sent to an outside service.
For logged-out shoppers, activity is counted only while chat history and guest sessions are allowed in Geeky Bot’s privacy settings. See Privacy and data.
Activity records aren’t deleted by Geeky Bot’s conversation retention setting. The WordPress personal data eraser removes a person’s account and session from them, and uninstalling Commerce Pro with Delete data on uninstall turned on deletes them.
