Appearance In The GeekyBot!

To access the appearance detail page, navigate to the Admin Dashboard –> Dashboard Menu –> Appearance –> click on Appearance from your admin dashboard. On the appearance page, you will find various options for the admin to manage the Geekybot.

Appearance

Bot Image: Bot image is an option to upload custom avatars for the chatbot.

User Default Image: Upload a custom image to represent the user avatar.

Set Color:

  • Using The Color Picker:
    • On the appearance page, you’ll see options for various color categories such as “Primary Color”, “User Text Background Color”, “User Text Color”, and “Bio Link Color”.
    • To change a color, click the choose color button you wish to modify (e.g., the Primary Color box).
  • Selecting a New Color:
    • After clicking the choose color button, a color picker will open. You can select a different shade by either:
    • Click on the colored box section to explore different shades.
    • Dragging the rectangular icon within the color picker up or down to adjust the color manually.
  • Using HEX Color Codes:
    • If you already have a specific HEX color code you want to use, you can paste it into the designated box area.
    • The displayed color will automatically update to reflect the new HEX code you entered.
  • Live Preview:
    • You can see a live preview of your selected colors as you adjust on the right side of the customizer. This allows you to visualize how your changes will appear.
  • Saving Your Changes
    • Once satisfied with the new color selections, click the Save Colors button at the top of the page to apply and save your changes.

Presets

  • Presents a variety of preset themes featuring attractive color schemes designed to enhance the visual appeal of your plugin.
  • Administrators can modify the theme colors or select from seven pre-made themes, each offering seven distinct color schemes.
  • Once satisfied with the new color selections, click the Save Colors button at the top of the page to apply and save your changes.

Welcome Message

Welcome Message

This is the first message users see when they open the chatbot. You can customize this to match your brand voice, greet users in a specific tone, or give them a starting prompt like:

“Hi there! I’m GeekyBot — ask me anything or type ‘help’ to get started.”

Welcome Image

You can optionally upload an image (e.g., your logo) to go along with the message.

The right-hand preview shows how this will appear; the speech bubble pops above the image icon, giving the chatbot a friendly, visual identity.

Abandoned Item Message

Show With Smart Popup
YES/NO Controls whether the abandoned cart message is displayed with the smart pop-up. The smart bot window displays the reminder inside the default chat area (as shown in the below).
Show On Standard Popup
YES/NO Controls whether the abandoned cart message is displayed on the standard pop-up. A friendly message like “Just a reminder – 2 items are waiting for you!” appears along with buttons like View Cart and Checkout (as shown in the below).

Chat Auto-Popup

  • Chat Auto Popup: Enable/Disable controls whether the chat popup appears automatically on your site.
  • Chat Pop-up Style: Choose how the chat will appear, Smart or Standard pop-up.
  • Chat Auto-Popup Timing: Define the delay time in seconds for the chatbot to auto-appear on the site.

Once you set the changes, hit the save changes button. The changes have been successfully saved.
